Farewell to Mrs Russell

Sara Russell, our Art and DT Technician, has decided to retire. She joined Bute House in 2012, starting as a volunteer for one day a week. however it quickly became clear that Mrs Russell brought far more than enthusiasm to the role. Her artistic background, dedication and commitment shone through from the very beginning, and before long she became a valued member of staff, working two and then three days a week as our Art Technician.

Over the years, Mrs Russell has become an indispensable part of the Art Department. Her technical expertise is second to none, and she has supported countless pupils with patience, kindness and encouragement. Whether helping students develop their creative ideas, preparing resources, or solving seemingly impossible practical problems, she has always been there with a calm approach and a smile.

We thank her for all the hard work, loyalty, patience, creativity, and friendship she brought to the role. We wish her well as she starts her well-earned retirement and looks forward to spending more time with her grandchildren.
